Our recruiting pools are composed of people from varied backgrounds and experiences and reflect the customers and communities we serve. Our diversity-specific recruiting includes listing career opportunities on over 100 job boards tied to diversity, veteran and disability organizations and partnering with numerous organizations to help attract minority candidates at job fairs and networking workshops. In addition, Investors provides work-study opportunities for inner-city youth and engages in outreach efforts with local colleges and universities to attract diverse groups of students for the bank’s summer internship program.

At Investors, we invest in our employees with programs that build their professional skills and support career mobility. Our Talent Center of Excellence provides online and classroom-led development courses in professional, technical, business, and leadership skills. We partner with LinkedIn Learning, an online video learning platform, offering courses taught by industry experts in software, creative and business skills. In addition, we offer development planning, mentoring opportunities and visibility into career paths to support your career mobility.

Investors Bank’s Diversity and Inclusion Council is a group of leaders from our organization who create and execute on our plans to drive diversity and inclusion strategy and develop the framework for implementing and supporting initiatives, programs, policies and processes. They also help shape other employee resource groups to address the specific needs of diverse populations within our organization and the markets we serve.

Our Women’s Leadership Council was founded in 2016. This group encourages professional development through exchanging ideas as well as promoting and influencing women’s careers through networking events, leadership and communications programs, coaching and mentoring, and wellness programs.
