Commercial online banking training resource
To suit your preferred learning style, we have provided multiple training materials on Commercial Online Banking,
helping you navigate its capabilities effectively and efficiently.
Users who have installed the mobile app on their mobile devices can now log in using Fingerprint ID (Android OS), Face ID (iOS, iPhone X or later) or Touch ID (iOS, iPhone 8 or earlier).
When logging in to the mobile app for the first time, you will enter login credentials using your device’s text input function. On the next login, you will have the option to enable biometric authentication for future logins.

In addition to receiving alerts on a scheduled basis, entitled users will now have the option to receive alerts in real time via email when an account transfer, ACH and/or wire payment is awaiting approval. Real-time delivery has been added to the following alert types: Payments Awaiting My Approval, Templates Awaiting My Approval and Approval Window Passed.

Entitled users can now quickly see both the account transfers that need approval (Transfers Awaiting Approval) and the account transfers that were rejected (Transfers Rejected) on the homepage. From the Notifications page, the user can click "View" to see the list of transfers that require approval and transfers that were rejected.

Zero-dollar live-entry transactions are now supported for Corporate/Vendor and Corporate Trade Exchange Payments. A company might need to send a notification to a vendor without an actual payment, such as additional information related to a prior payment or as a notification of a regular payment not made. This new feature can be selected when creating a payment to enable this kind of transaction.

Users who issue large volumes of checks and need to research the status of those checks on a daily basis now have the ability to retrieve the statuses of multiple, non-sequential checks at once through Check Inquiry. Since serial numbers associated with checks may not always be sequential, users have the ability to quickly type one or multiple serial numbers and retrieve the results. Users can also add more rows to search additional serial numbers. The maximum number of fields that display is also configurable (default is up to 50).

Users who submit a high volume of wires want to be able to update and submit multiple wire payments using a text-based file import, so they do not have to use multiple import file formats. Users can now import a text-based file to generate USD domestic and international payments.
Users can now also see the name of the import map on the File Imports History widget, so that they can track which map was used when importing a file.

Users can now retrieve up to 14 days of deposit history for RDC transactions within the mobile app. This information is available for all checks deposited through the mobile application or through a desktop scanner. Deposit History information is available through the "View Deposit History" menu available under "Remote Deposit Capture." Each record includes the following information:
- Status (Deposit Approved or Deposit Rejected)
- Amount
- Name (if applicable)
- Creation date and time

Users will now be alerted via email when payments/transfers cannot be processed because they were not approved prior to the cutoff time. These payments/transfers will be under the "Approval Window Passed" status instead of being under the "Approver Rejected" status.

Entitled users can define which fields in an ACH, Wire or Transfer template can be updated by a specific user when initiating a payment from that template. This configuration provides the user with a greater level of control and segregation of duties when initiating payments from templates. Users can lock a template to prevent changes to the originating account, amount of the payment, or reference fields. Users can also indicate what fields can be modified during payment initiation when creating a template.
The following fields can be locked, by type:
ACH Payments (where applicable):
- Originator ID (Debit Account and Originator ID are the only fields that are locked by default)
- Batch Description
- Descriptive Date
- Discretionary Data
- Amount
- Addenda Code
- Addenda
- Hold
Wire Payments (where applicable):
- Debit Account (Debit Account and Originator ID are the only fields that are locked by default)
- Customer Reference
- Amount/Currency
- Payment Details
- Bank-to-Bank Details
Loan Payments/Loan Draws/Transfers:
- To Account
- From Account
- Amount
Note: Amount fields can only be locked after an amount has been entered.

When viewing or modifying a payment or template, the Payment/Template History section now displays the full audit history of the item, including the old and new values of fields that were modified. Previously, this historical data was available only within a detailed audit report. You can still print the Payment or Template Audit History Report for the item.
This feature applies to all payment types, including ACH, Wires, EFT, Bill Pay, Transfers and Loans.

Users may experience difficulty manually creating up to several hundred wire payments a day using the traditional method of data entry. In order to allow customers to move through the application as quickly as possible, the Wire Domestic Multi-Entry option has been created to simplify the way multiple wires are created. In this new workflow, users can create an unlimited number of domestic wires with minimal fields to be typed in.

Today users can add any dollar amount in a template, provided the company has sufficient funds in the account and that the maximum daily limit has not been exceeded. Now the user can mitigate risk by setting a maximum transaction amount associated with a particular template. Payments may be created from the template up to and including the template’s maximum transaction amount, assuming the maximum daily limit has not been exceeded.

The upgrade includes the transaction date (the date by which the payment needs to be sent to the bank for processing) of any payment (for all payment types) in the Payments List View to accurately perform cash flow management. Now, users can report on payments by transaction date to accurately manage their cash flow on a daily basis.
